86 Cannon is an adults only property (including infants and toddlers). Many of our guests choose us as a well deserved getaway. If your child is over the age of 16 we can accommodate them.

To confirm a reservation, we require a deposit of the first night plus tax.

Reservations must be canceled by 4 pm EST 14 days in advance to avoid a penalty of one night or 50% of the stay (whichever is greater plus tax). If canceled outside of the 14-day policy, the deposit will be fully refunded (less a $35 administrative fee).

Due to our small size, cancellations greatly affect us. Therefore, we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

We are happy to arrange later arrivals. Please contact us if you anticipate arriving after 8:00 PM.

Check-out is at 12 PM.

*Early check-ins are based upon availability. We offer guests complimentary luggage storage at reception.

While we love all furry friends, we do not accept pets to respect those with allergies. This also applies to emotional support animals.

We have 5 luxury king rooms in the main house of the Inn and 2 cottage suites in the cottage adjacent to the Inn.

86 Cannon is located in the vibrant Elliotborough/Cannonborough neighborhood in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Our neighborhood is known as a foodie destination. We are a 5 minute walk to King Street.

Yes! Parking is very limited in downtown Charleston. We allow one on-site parking space per guest room for $29/ day.

We do not. All of our guest rooms accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.

Group bookings are limited to 2 rooms. The hotel is unavailable for buyouts or whole property bookings. We reserve the right to cancel reservations that comprise a partial or complete buyout.

We are unable to accommodate brides or bridal parties (bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc.)

Unfortunately the hotel is unable to host events.

We are located less than 20 minutes from the airport.
